Last year it was Morocco. We walked the hills and sat for long breakfasts and took the chance to be away from everything in order to truly dive into our collection of stories. We had CEOs, and keynote speakers, entrepreneurs and teachers, writers, filmmakers and activists.

Many people have asked me if I ever teach local in-person events, and my answer has always been no. Too much organizing! So I’m excited to finally make it happen at Multiversity, which is situated in the redwoods near the Pacific Coast and Santa Cruz, California, not far from Silicon Valley.

The work will be very similar to our Morocco trip. We’ll go deep, to find the most powerful and relevant insights and lessons into essential stories that you can use again and again for different audiences and different purposes.

We’ll talk, talk, sit quietly, scan our lives both personal and professional, consider our most critical messages, and learn from each other. I will take the best of the work I’ve done around the world and bring it to you.

At a completely unparalleled price, by the way.

At the end, you’ll have five essential stories to tell for different purposes and different audiences. Maybe one will reveal why you do the work you do. Maybe one will illuminate the reason behind your company. Another may depict a critical challenge you’ve faced in your life, and how you got through it Regardless, you’ll emerge with a repertoire of purposeful stories, a new and deeper understanding of stories in general, and insight into how they relate to speaking, career, and strategy.

Learn more about the course here!

You’ll have wonderful accommodations (I can’t wait to retreat here.) include all-natural, farm-to-table cuisine, daily offerings in meditation, yoga, fitness, and other classes and events, as well as four miles of forest hiking trails on a beautiful 75-acre campus. You’ll love the wellness center with bodywork modalities designed for relaxation and whole-body integration, steam rooms, and large outdoor hot tub with an expansive view of the redwoods. You can choose from a variety of housing options, from Asian-inspired ‘pods’ to executive suites.
